Last night we had an excellent turn out! Raised phenomenal donations for CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection) which was amazing! The Master of Ceremonies was none other but Mr. Extraordinaire Edward Sanchez. We had lots of great sponsors such as Momentum Mini Cooper, Premier Mobile Tanning, Dr. Nikko, Sprinkles cupcakes, Elemental Media Group, a beautiful cake from Frosted, and Sophisticated Bitch fashion. Everyone was overwhelmed by the “Summer Social Butterfly” drink that was the specialty drink from Sugarcane. Their drinks are mostly organic and are definitely heaven and happiness!! We received cameo’s from Erica Rose (formerly on VH1′s “You’re Cut Off), also Ashley Christine Parivar who was formerly Miss Texas United States who is simply the sweetest thing ever, Titus from Titius Fashion, Mr. Jeff Taplin from King Dick and Sophisticated Bitch Fashion, Chris Manriquez from Manriquez auto collision, and Guy Mahaffey from Sudden Impact stopped by for a while amongst some other great and fabulous guests including some of my best friends and family!! We all sang happy birthday to the beautiful Enid Sanchez when the night was ending….her cake from Frosted was AMAZING! I am blessed by so many friends and family who came out to support the launching of my website which has come a long way from when I first started it. Mr. Make it Happen truly has made it happened and I am most grateful!! Keep smiling Houston! We have more to come and a whole lot of things in the works…Butterfly kisses!!

Last night’s Valobra Event….

Last night was the CAP honoree event at Valobra Jewelry. What girl wouldn’t want to be surrounded with the most exquisite italian custom jewelry, champagne, and good friends? Two of the honoree’s were Edward and Enid Sanchez whom we were there to support. They both have contributed so much not only to CAP but also to many other charities. I mingled w/ Dr. Maldonado, Pat Murphy, and of course Franco Valobra who bought me a raffle ticket! Overall it was a successful event and to make the evening even more eventful, Edward had a beautiful cake for his sister Enid’s Birthday and we all sang Happy Birthday and wished her well. She had a great bday and I’m glad we were all a part of it! Oh, and by the way….I fell in LOVE w/ the beautiful Butterfly necklace below…if there are any volunteers to buy it for me, it is only $40,000.

This past weekend I went to Austin for the Austin City Limits. It is a festival with 130 different bands. This was one of the best weekends I’ve had this year. Met new friends and heard excellent music!! Good times!!! If you get a chance…check out Phoenix, Thievery Corporation, Deadweather, Ghostland Observatory, Kings of Leon, Passion Pitt, Citizen Cope…those are only a few of the wonderful sounds we heard….

Sorry, I’ve been really busy working on a couple of projects….Friday night I drove to Sugarland and spent the night w/ my fam. We watched movies and had good times. Love them soooo much! Saturday was Wendy’s Wig Party @ The Manor. It was a BLAST!! My brother and sis n law and thier friends ended up meeting up with us. My brother put on my wig and was a hoot!! Everyone was crackin up!! He’s so silly!! Guess it runs in the family!!

Thursday night went to Blue Label…it was packed and sooooooooo much fun!! Friday went to see La Diabla @ House of Blues, great show despite the 100 degree temp. it seriously felt like hell in there!! After the show we went to The Manor where the music is always good and the place is so much fun!! Saturday I spent the day @ the pool w/ my nieces and nephew and bro and sis n law…Saturday night went to Eight and Nox……..Good times!! Sunday my roomie and I took the metro rail to the Pavillion and had brunch @ Guadalajara…it was GREAT!! Dinner @ Cyclones and then a corona @ Open City….Overall the weekend was quite eventful!!

Friday night was another GNO part deux…went to Ei8ght and then Nox!! Both places were packed w/ good music and good vibes! Saturday I took my niece and nephew to Fun Tiki in Sugarland and spent the night w/ them….Sunday headed out to Kobain and then to Pub Fiction…over all it was a fun and relaxing weekend!!

Last night was another great GNO!! We started at Tasting Room which was crowded!! After 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne, we walked over to Belvedere…there was a good crowd and the music was great as usual! Then it was off to Blue Label to see DJ Scotty from Vegas…the place was packed and the crowd was nice! Good times~
